Love this !
What a delicious treat and a real page turner. I love the characters who unfold from cold aristocratic to more emotional beings. It’s a great storyline with a few surprise twists. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Kudos to Ms. Beers!
Karen Cass did a nice job narrating the audio version.

Great storyline but?
The story is engaging and the narration was suburb. However, the two main characters have a hard time expressing deep felt love for one another. It wasn’t believable, both main characters lacked something I just couldn’t put my finger on. Anyway, the story was really good but, I had to take a star away from the characters. I would still recommend -make you own mind up

Disappointing
The story line/plot was a pretty good one. The narration left much to be desired, however. The main female character sounded childish and whiny. The male leads voice had little expression, and his lines always sounded choppy. I couldn't finish the listen.
