Ms Britton spins tales so well and this one did not disappoint. The narration is great.

Sweet romance

I loved this book from Sally Britton. Her books always captivate me. The narration was great, really brought the characters to life. I liked how Philippa and Miles meet. I love the ending and epilogs make me happy!

Best of best narrators!

The more I read of this author’s works, the more I want to read of them. What has made them especially well done for me is absolutely my favorite narrator ever! Her talent is amazing.

A new favorite by Sally Britton

I think I might have a new favorite book by Sally Britton. Her Unsuitable Match was delightful in so many ways and is 4.5 out of 5 stars for me! First off, it’s marriage of convenience, which is one of my favorite tropes. Add to that a hero (Myles) battling some deep wounds who’s valiant and incredibly kind, a heroine (Philippa) who’s fiercely independent, and conflicts that help them both grow and become more, and you’ve got a regency romance well worth reading. I personally listened to the audiobook and loved how the choice of narrator added to the story. This is definitely a book I’ll be returning to in the future.

A Good Story

I enjoy Sally Britton’s novels. This is another good, clean, love story without to much angst and, best of all, a great ending!

Heartwarming

This was a beautifully written, heartfelt, “unexpected” love story. My heart is always ready to listen and enter warmly into stories involving a war hero — and Myles took my heart early on in this one. What other heroes can compare to such men? Pippa, whose life was very different to say the least, had her own brokenness that, although she didn’t realize it, only tenderness and warmth and family could heal.

Heartwarming is the best word I can think of to express my feelings as I contemplate this book. In addition I love how Sally Britton brings so many of her characters from previous stories into play in each of her books. Just charming.

I also listened to parts of the book on Audible as I often do, and this narration was very well done. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful and lovely book!

I really love this story! The characters were so wonderful, both the female and male character had such beautiful developments that just warms the heart! usually I get a little nerves with marriage of convenience type stories but this was done so greatly, as they very much respect each other even though they just met! Definitely recommend as this is a great cozy read with No crazy dramatic plot or annoying misunderstanding. also I loved the narrator, she was excellent in delivery, especially in the male lead!

This was interesting from start to finish and very sweet. I love that the heroine was capable, smart and compassionate.
