Liked it overall but ran long
It was good and I will read the next as I am curious what happens with the other spinsters. However, the secret plot and reveal between Tony and Hugh seems weak/not believable. The story dragged at times, could have been a shorter book. However, I liked the relationship between the main characters and how sweet Tony was.

Remarkably warm, funny, and endearing
My husband and I listened to this together. We related to this story because we were older when we got married, and he was military man who swept me off my feet. I love the combination of this author and this narrator. I have never been disappointed with either.

I loved the narration. She fit the story perfectly!
I couldn't go back and reread something I thought I'd missed and it was difficult to find the spot I though I needed to be in. It's hard to navigate an audio book.
