Men ruin women...especially men like Chase Davis. Good looking, intelligent, rich, and powerful - I never stood a chance. When he entered my life, I was finally healing after having barely survived the men of my past. My soul sisters told me to take a chance, to let someone in. I let him in, and he surrounded me with a light so bright that I was blinded by the truth. Men don't ruin women. They devour them in every way that counts.

A really good read/listen if a bit rushed at times

This story had a lot of similarities to 50 Shades but was still a good read/listen. The narrator is enjoyable and does a great job of switching it up ..Show More »

I'm a magnet for evil and controlling men. Chase, my big business tycoon and love of my life, thinks he can protect me, but he can't. No one can. It became clear far too late how serious my stalker was, that his threats weren't idle. He proved more than once that he would do what it takes, that there were no stakes too high for his sick and twisted games and delusions of worship. We should have been better prepared.

    great read

great read keeps you interested. can't wait for the last one. if you haven't read or listened to them you should.

I was a dead woman. I'd finally had a glimpse of true love, admiration, and the kind of devotion only your soul mate, your other half, could provide - until it was physically ripped away. Taken. My stalker had me, and there was little hope I'd be found. I knew Chase would use all his money and resources to search the ends of the Earth for me, but I knew the monster I was dealing with. Years of looking into the eyes of pure evil gave me the unique experience to know that my situation was dire.

    Okay series!

The series was okay. It was kind of drawn out. and I swear the author used "my woman", "my girl", "my man" wayyyyyyy to much. it got really really ann..Show More »

Maria De La Torre is a survivor. Her life has not been paved with streets of gold...but with blood and sacrifice. She may have been there for her soul sister in the Trinity Trilogy but this story is about her life. The life she chooses. The same life someone from her past is trying to take away.

    Not My Favorite

I've loved these books, but Maria was too irritating for me. I also don't understand the willful stupidity when it comes to self preservation.

Not many can say they were burned by fate. I'm the exception. Scalded figuratively, emotionally, and physically...I have the scars running down my arm, ribs, and side to prove it. The doctors have done what they can to heal me by smoothing the abraded skin using other parts of my body. But they can only do so much. Sometimes, what can't be seen can't be healed.

    Sheer perfection!

Every emotion was there. I hurt, I got mad, I got happy and sad. I worried, plotted, rejoiced, mourned. I was fearful and angry. I plotted revenge..Show More »
