This is the Book of the Proverbs of Solomon from the Old Testament in the King James Version of the Bible. Written by Solomon, Son of David, King of Israel. King Solomon lived approximately 3,000 years ago. He was the third reigning King of the Kingdom of Israel.

The Letter to the Hebrews, later to become better known as The Book of Hebrews, from the Apostle Paul (formerly known as Saul of Tarsus). In this classic Letter, Paul demonstrates the end of the old Jewish system of sacrifices, since Jesus the Christ had become the Sacrifice for all and had taken a position at the right hand of the Throne of God, becoming a Heavenly High Priest at his ascension.

From the Encyclopedia Britannica: 1 John - The First Letter of John was apparently addressed to a group of churches where “false prophets", denounced as antichrist, denied the incarnation of Jesus and caused a secession so substantial that the orthodox remnant was sadly depleted. The faithful were deeply disturbed that the heresy found favour among pagans, and they apparently felt inferior because those who had left their midst claimed to have profound mystical experiences. The heretics asserted that they possessed perfection, were “born of God”, and were without sin.
