Gordon's name was a joke.

It was given to him by Anthony Zola, a controlling, and abusive father, to taunt his wife over her love of cheese, and the fact that she had been steadily gaining weight since their marriage.

Andrea was a doting mother, and maybe a little overprotective of her boy, but she didn't see that as a bad thing.

On discovering a secret, one the child had been told to keep to himself, everything changes. Now she must do whatever she needs to keep her, and her boy, alive.

if you’re looking for something uniquely disturbing…

i’ll start by saying the reading of this book was PHENOMENAL, making the gory details all the more disturbing. i can’t say i’ve ever read anything else like this.. it still makes my stomach churn when i think about it. it’s bleak and grotesque, but if you’re looking for that, i highly recommend it 🤣

F***ing gross

Just pure filth! Props to the narrator, she did a great job but this book had me gagging by the end. I don't regret it, but I could have gone without this one.

Splatter punk? Maybe, no real horror, just holy hell!! Probably the grossest book if done. I do not regret it though.
Now I want a grilled cheese.

Amazingly gross

I had read Zola a while back, but when DE said that it was coming to audio and Lila Kerry was narrating it I knew I had to give it a listen.

Lila does such an amazing job bringing the characters to life. I feel like listening to this story made it more vivid than when I read it. Absolutely loved it!

It’s a great gnarly gross story. I will never look at cheese steaks the same again. If you like gross and dark, then this book is for you!!
