We all get hungry sometimes.

First off, I am never one to judge people on their unique hungers. Hell, I have many that I shall never protest. Being said, I understand what some may deem as delectable that others do not.
Sarah is in the same boat. The woman knows what she likes. Some people like hamburgers. Some like spaghetti. Sarah, on the other hand, likes food more organic and fresh that isn't filled with all of the reservations and chemicals that we all feast on daily. The only thing I found disgusting is she never used mayonnaise.

DE makes yet another compelling story in the extreme. If you are a fan of his work, buckle up. If you loved 'Zola', then this will be right up your alley. The narration was superb, and the story was as beautiful and poetic as so many of you may believe it to be.

Ew.

I've had a physical copy on my shelf for some time but couldn't ever bring myself to read it. Finally grabbed an audio copy... and let's just say I feel disgusted with myself. I don't know what's worse ... this book or the fact I'm rating it 5 ⭐.

Nasty, nasty nasty and if I wasn't done having kids, I probably would be now from fear of developing batshit crazy cravings! LOL! I love my crotch goblins more than life itself but I could never give into these sorts of cravings. *GAG*.

Ick aside DE writes one hell of a story and he picked a phenomenal narrator. I give her all the credit for being able to deliver such a stellar performance of such an unpalatable tale.

Cravings will destroy your senses!

D.E. McCluskey took a beautiful time in a woman's life, pregnancy, and completely destroys your senses. Cravings is an abhorrent delight. McCluskey and the narrator perfectly portray Sarah's inner turmoil as she relishes in her impulsive cravings. The lengths at which Sarah will go to satisfy her craving will have your stomach queasy and your mouth plagued with bile.

I read this book last year, but now had the nauseating pleasure of listening to the audio version!
When you are pregnant, how can you deny your cravings? Sarah had rather unusual cravings, but she was unable to stop the strong urges she felt. She had to give in and eat what her and the baby craved!
This story is gross, pretty horrific and it’s probably best to read on an empty stomach.

The narrator brought this disgustingly entertaining novelette to life! It was tough to listen to some parts, but I couldn’t stop!

I recommend grabbing the audio version! It’s one of those stories that you won’t forget!

EnGROSSing Read

I received an audio ARC of this novellette and think the narrator did a fantastic job. She kept my interest. This is my first book by this author but not my first extreme book. Loved it and wanted more. What happened to the baby after birth? Such a quick and enGROSSing read, haha.

Bowling for Soup

This gives bowling for soup a WHOLE new meaning. I love how nasty this was. D.E. McCluskey has no shame in his writing and I’m absolutely here for it. The book was GREAT. The audiobook was EVEN BETTER. The narrator really dove into the role and made you feel disgusting right along with her.
