WWII German Soldiers - Stories of the Brave

The Truth Revealed from the German Side

Among all other soldiers, we can agree that the most controversial are the German soldiers. When we hear the word swastika, we immediately think of the gore and traumatizing event that people during the World War II have gone through. This book, however, talks about four German citizens who strongly stood up for their moral duties to fully support their government. Germans are intense believers of patriotism, and a good patriot is one who submits to authority.

It is safe to say that these soldiers have given up everything in order to serve their country, and this book re-tells the story of those soldiers who knew the taste of death, war and in the midst of it all, survival.

Poorly read

The story is great. The problem is the narrator. He has a definite love of the word "THE" which he uses with just about every noun in the book, i.e., "THE World War II" and many other places where it is not proper. Also, he needs to educate himself about German submarine names. It is not a Type "I Ex C", but is a Type Nine C (IX-C). There are other similar problems that detract from enjoyment of the book.
