This is useful especially if you are someone who has been pushing yourself for years, eating processed or low fat foods, and think being type A is great. That said I'm not that sort of person so a lot of this I already knew, so it's a book for women really at the beginning. The diet regimen is too strict in my opinion because I think we're all a bit different and need to listen to our body not another person to tell us what we need, but again if you are very disconnected from your body then her plan is a good one,

Love her point that we women in the west have been taught to value our masculine traits above all, so true and unfortunate. All in all a useful book. Thank you.

Alisa is amazing! I now feel equipped and empowered to make dietary & lifestyle changes to feel better. I started making dietary changes 4 days ago after I started listening to this audiobook and I'm already beginning to feel a little better.
