Loved every second of this book!

I am profoundly grateful for the authors and contributor of Wise Power. This was exactly what I was looking for. I had already done plenty of research. I understood the ins and outs of my menopause from a biological stance. But I was really hungry to understand what was happening internally, emotionally, spiritually.
Wise power defined that, and so much more. It has given me permission to be as I am. And to take this sacred journey Into my own hands with grace, dignity, and potency.
For women who are entering this phase of life, or are already moving through it, this book speaks to those who choose to feel deeper into the architecture and journey of their soul through this time of great awakening.

A "Sacred Rite" That Ignores Real-World Responsibilities

​I’m currently navigating perimenopause and was really looking for some hope or a fresh perspective, but Wise Power just felt like a loop of redundant, idealistic advice. The whole book basically argues that we’re "transforming" so we can say no and create space, but then says we need that space in order to transform. It doesn’t offer anything new or tangible to hold onto.

​Also, there is a privilege gap in this book. It talks about "saying no" like it’s the easiest thing in the world, totally ignoring the reality that most women in their 40-50s are at the peak of their careers while simultaneously caring for teens. We have people counting on us and huge responsibilities; we can't just opt out of our lives because we're in a "new season." I wanted something helpful, but this felt more like a repetitive, flowery daydream that doesn't fit the high-pressure reality of modern life.

But, I appreciate the effort. As I keep reading books on this topic, I'm sure I'll find one that fits my needs.
