Okay story

This was a first time read for me by this author, so I didn't have any specific expectations going in. I listened to this as an audiobook, and the narration was ok. When I read the blurb, the premise sounded interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try. I enjoy contemporary novels that have a medical backdrop, and so was excited to read this. It wasn't necessarily as engaging as I had hoped. Also, it was heavily religion based, which was fine, I didn't mind that, but it may not be the same for everyone. The story progressed a little slower than I would have liked, and I really couldn't get into it.

okay

This was an okay book. Nothing more, nothing less. It did not "speak" to me, and I didn't feel invested in the characters or the story.

Purity of your heart

Another delightful episode filled with challenges these two young women face. I know this author can be trusted to speak to the most innocent of hearts.. I would not hesitate to read these books to a granddaughter or great granddaughter.

Aggressively christian romance

I picked this book because I liked the premise. I enjoy reading about people in the medical field so this one seemed right up my alley. However, this book wasn't for me. I don't mind books where the characters are more religious than I am or have a different religion but this was over the top. Characters constantly referenced god and horrible things would happen and characters would be reminded god has a plan. Also there was a pattern of characters praying instead of trying to fix their problems. If you are a devout christian this book may be for you but otherwise I'd choose a different read.

I listened to the audiobook version of Window to My Heart. Overall I thought the narration was good. Some of the female characters sounded very young to the point where I thought they were children. I also wasn't a huge fan of Nate's voice.
