It's like an affirmation.

Recently I've run into some books where they take gossip and rumors. Then talk about them like it was factual. Like Gabby Bernstein's book. You are the Guru. mentions 400 years of slavery for black people. but that's obviously a bullshit number because black people have been slaves since before Rome existed. And here the author talks about straight white men.

I am a straight white man and am constantly discriminated against because I'm Irish. Irish people aren't white when they have problems and they are white so fuck them when they do have problems. You can be as straight and white as you want. And it's not gonna alter what the real issue is. Which is class and economy.

Sure an alright white guy might be in a preexisting structure. But since this isn't the same globally then this is an opinion based on no real concrete sources. Society does expect us to bend and contort to gain power. Based on MONEY and POWER. Not what sex or religion or form of class you're in. Because based on global gentrification. Matching California's real estate market. The culprets setting societal standards haven't been straight or white since the 1960s. And trying to get a job as a straight white person in California now. Is like trying to get a job in South Africa. That shit aint happening unless you're not white, have a masters degree or are a woman.

Now with that out of the way, the reason Im reading this book is to quit smoking weed. Because I can't really afford to eat every day. Even though just walking outside can cause a panic attack because California is a pretty stressful place. Especially as a guy, constantly being reminded that you're expendable and basically just a tool for gavin newsome.

But I know if I can have positive reminders and ideas and concepts to think about. That may allow me to think about that as I work on my own issues.

For the most part. The author is correct 100%. Except she keeps blaming gossip sources sources rather than investigating the actual data not manipulated by feminists. But how she identifys the structure, operating parts of the problem. A method that would be a very workable solution. Is very wonderful.

Once you can translate the arguments, the points she makes are really valid and helpful when struggling. And she has a really nice voice in terms of narrators.

But lastly, she mentions self sublimating. And again states that it comes from these 1950s and before ideas. But sublimation to meet societal standards is based around guilt and shame. It's a form of competing to not lose versus competing to win. One makes you sublimate (hide and compartmentalize parts of your self). Playing safe. While competing to win is what the Toastmasters does. And living in fear of rumors like. Men are the standard after the 90s. Will lead a person down that path. So if it happens the solution is to take on a big goal and compete to win. In a area with others. Maybe start small like online games. My point is, this thinking is easy to conjoin with other topics and seeing the truth is one of the hardest things to do.

After all that I would definitely suggest this book. Because the overall large points. Are why weed creates this circular and obscure pattern. And you can tell it's some ideas comprised from other books. And she put a lot of work into this. Especially the idea that. Changing setting or going on vacation can be a good starter. Since you'll be busy and your minds guard is down.

Since it's so inexpensive I would highly suggest this to anyone who is struggling but doesn't want to drop much on a whole bunch of random programs. It's way easier to just solve the problems the author lays out and it can probably enhance other areas of your life in the process. Hal Moore from that movie We Were Soldiers said, when asked. How can you be a dad and a soldier (at the beginning of the movie he's talking to this guy whos wife just gave birth). And Hal says, I always hope. Being good at one, makes me better at the other.

Spent a credit on a 9min book.

I want my credit back..this was book was only 9 minute long. what the heck audible
