One of my favorite reads this year!

I had no idea what I was getting when I came across this book in Walmart, I read the back and was slightly intrigued. I ended up buying it & the audiobook and this exceeded my expectations. The world building was great and I absolutely love where we could see a world where the roles were reversed. Everything that us women couldn’t do throughout history was finally not okay for men to do! Easily one of my favorite reads this year and I’ve read a lot of books this year. This one will always stand out. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

Flipping history

I love the plot line Tricia Levenseller wrote for this book. How it flips history on men and really makes you view all the hardships they have made women endure for decades. If only I could get all the men I know to read this book and truly understand that it’s not just a fantasy story. It has real substance and as much as I love the characters and romance throughout it definitely makes you think. I have read every one of Levensellers books and eagerly devour each new one she releases. This was no exception, shes an amazing author and i will continue my excitement each time I hear of a new book release. There was a hint to a potential second book and I truly hope she continues this story line. I would love to hear more about this world. The spicy scenes were also a surprising and fun new addition to her writing adult fantasy. Excitedly waiting for her next release!

Better than expected

The book was great kept me on my toes waiting for more and more! I really enjoyed listening to it!

How it didn't draw me in like most of her books.

I love reading books by Tricia Levenseller, however, this one was different from her other books. I liked her characters and how the book ended, but I have to say it wasn't my favorite book at all. I really didn't enjoy this one as much as her other books. One of the things I love most about her books is how she draws you in and makes you feel like you are apart of the story. I couldn't connect with this one.

After Daughter of Pirate King series, I was greatly looking forward to Tricia Levenseller’s first adult novel. Alas, the build-up did not yield the anticipated results … *sigh*
