Jenny never misses!

I adore Jenny Hickmans writing and this book delivered. The narration was incredible and I swooned SO hard! Grab those headphones and enjoy this!

The sweetest slow burn

The book initially started out slow to me, as I usually indulge in dark fantasy romance with plenty of action, but the plot was intriguing and the voice actors did so well at telling the story. It was the sweetest slow burn romance and I loved the ending.

Cute story—sort of. Great Narrators!

This is a cute story—sort of. Not the worst I've read but I've definitely read much better. Lots of potential but overall, pretty disappointing. The FMC, Kerris, is okay. She has likable moments but she's mostly foolish and naive. Also, she causes most of her own problems, mostly by lying or omitting the truth, and it gets really annoying. The MMC, Everett (Ever), is decent but not memorable. His cowardice is particularly unattractive.
I'll still read Nia & Maddox's book though because I like them best.
