Publisher's Summary

Foster

I spent the last five years locked in a cage for a crime I didn't commit.

Crucified by the press and social media. Hated by all.

But now that I'm a free man, I'm determined to prove I'm not the evil mastermind everyone thinks I am.

I just need someone to believe in me.

Someone like Addison James...

Addison

Foster Cruise is sexy as hell and worth billions. But he destroyed my family.

He may have gone to prison, but he hasn't paid nearly enough for what I've lost.

He has no idea who I am, but I'm determined to prove what the law failed to - and put him back behind bars where he belongs.

I'll offer him my body and sell my soul to that handsome-as-hell devil to make things right.

Trouble is, I'm afraid he's already stolen my heart.

Adult content suitable for 18+. Contains language and sexual situations.

Ummmmmm, just no.Very bad

I couldnt finish reading. it was a horrible book, poorly written and the narration was awful. Well the female narrator ruined it and the book could have done without her. the story was not believable and was weak. I really wanted to like it. it was an epic fail.

Revenge.. or is It?

Any additional comments?

I liked the male lead, Foster, and found him interesting.

Addison, the female lead, was ok.. but sometimes she was annoying.

The story line was well written with decent characters that had decent chemistry.

Overall, a Good Concept for a book and I am glad that I gave the book a try and I will be on the look out for other books by this author.

Jessica Almasy and Jeremy York did well with the narration.

Just NO.

I applaud anyone's effort to get out there and write, but who the h@ll published this pile of crap? It was so bad I'm surprised the cover model hasn't asked to be removed due to utter mortification by association. The writing was poor, dialogue was poor, and let's not even talk about how much you have to suspend disbelief to swallow this terrible excuse for a book. so just NO.

Okay

A standard enemies to lovers story with a financial scandal plot in the background.

I didn't get that emotionally invested in the characters, but I did finish the book.

The narration was okay.

Revenge, Lies & Romance

I thought that this was a good book. The story was interesting and so were the characters. I never did figure out the whole Monster Billionaire tag because 1. There is nothing PNR about this book & 2. Foster was such a nice guy that even after being betrayed and imprisoned for 5 years was still pretty soft and gullible. I had complex feelings about Foster and Addison. I went back and forth between like and dislike for them on multiple occasions. This was a bigger issue with Addison, who really seemed to grate on my nerves with many of her thoughts and actions. . She just did so many things that irked me. That being said, I did feel sympathy for both of them. Each had been wronged and as such they had earned the right to their attitudes and baggage. This book offers some very funny moments, some very sweet ones and some steamy ones. I wish I could say I loved this couple but I didn't. I could never move beyond the feeling that their feelings were too imbalanced. His love seemed so much bigger than hers. Still overall it was a very enjoyable read. I would love to have stories for Ruby and Ben. Ruby was a true scene stealer and Ben's tale of lost love and bad decisions both seem perfect for their own books. The duel narration of the book was pleasing and I thought both narrators did an excellent job.

Good story but!

Overall I enjoyed the story itself albeit a few far fetched angles but it was a good story. My biggest issue was the female narrator’s voice. It was very annoying. Her voice sounded like a high school teenager and really made the book unbearable in some parts. I would read this author again but not with the female narrator.

The Lady Narrator

I just could not get past her loud annoying voice. I wanted to finish this book but after one hour in and I just.... Jeremy York is everything he should've just did the book by himself! :(

The story is great and the Malay narrator is fantastic. However, the female narrator was strident and I skipped her parts

It was a great story of redemption, but somebody should have audio-tested the female narrator. I couldn’t stand her strident and nasal narration.
