Great books, love the story.
If you are a fan of m/m books than you will love this book. I highly recommend it

I liked the concept of this book: a GFY or bisexual awakening trope mixed in with some tense, dramatic moments, secret pasts, and hot sex. What I did not like was the cardboard flavor characters who constantly treated women like dirt or playthings, and women in professional jobs being infantilized and disrespected. I really don’t understand the characterization choices for all the women in this book – either they are petty gold diggers or they are constantly being described as vapid and ditzy gossips who are blinded by the hearts in their eyes when it comes to Corey and Ben. I’ve worked with many nurses in many different areas, and yes there is gossip, and yes there is flirting, but no more than any other job, and they never once seemed stupid. This is a book that I liked certain parts and other parts just annoyed me. I’m a fan of Maris Black (I love the Kage trilogy!!!) and that was the only reason I picked this book. Since this is her earlier work, I’m really happy to see how far she’s progressed and refined her writing talent. I recommend skipping this book (unless you are looking for some amazingly hot MFM sex scenes) and reading her Kage trilogy.

Binge listened the entire thing. Love J.F. Harding and the emotion he pours into the characters, so you can feel their passion or sadness, etc. Great book!

So Sweet!!!!!

I absolutely loved this story! Ben was so sexy but needed a better personality towards people. Then you add Corey to the mix and you have a better Ben. There were times when I thought OMG like the famous Bar Kissing Scene (Very hott by the way) or the sex scenes. This was truly a great love story though. Wish I worked at a hospital with a sexy doctor or two. 😊

Another Great Maris Black Story

Fantastic book! Love the ideals about true love etc. the story only got 4 stars because elements are. It far fetched...even for a romance novel. Still, enjoyed it anyway.
