Tainted Victory

Captain Nolan destroyed the Void Wraith factory and the fleet guarding it, but every victory comes with a price. The destruction of the Helios Gate in the Ghantan system stranded Nolan and his crew months from the closest Gate. Dryker and Khar have been imprisoned by the Primo, forced to remain idle.

With both Nolan and Dryker absent from the galactic stage, the Void Wraith's agents have grown bolder. They trigger a war between humanity and the Tigris, one that will devastate both races. Worse, the Void Wraith's master has arrived in the Milky Way, and it hungers.

Dryker must rally the Primo, Tigris, and humanity...or all three races face eradication.

Amazing. Performance winner.

The narrator exhibited the BEST performance out of the audible books I've listened to so far ( about 20 now) very impressed

another fast paced thrill ride.....

this has proven to be another great story in the series. I found it to be just fast enough to tell the story but still able to build the imagination up. once I started listening I just couldn't stop.
the narrator did a great job with the characters.

now Mr. Fox needs to hurry up with the next story.......

Another Home Run

Where does Void Wraith rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best! I love Chris Fox and Void Wraith, just like the rest of his books, did not disappoint.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Void Wraith?

There were several, but when the slug thing that is in the Admiral finally comes out with the murderous/carnivorous tentacles and Nolan trying to get to the body to get the box...freakin' crazy, graphic and imaginative.

Have you listened to any of Ryan Kennard Burke’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have and actually really like him...I think he does a great job with less traditional story lines and I love when he does the recap the Chris Fox has at the beginning of his books...he really great at capturing the humor from the writer...

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Moved me...hmm...to be honest I love the developing relationships between the main human characters and the main Tigris characters...it shows how family doesn't always mean blood or in this case the same species...

Any additional comments?

I'm NOT a SciFi fan, but I am REALLY enjoying this series...I definitely recommend it and anything else by this author and the narrator too.

All I can say is...more please...ASAP!!

Book 2 is just as good as the first!

Great continuation of the story! Everything is woven together brilliantly and leaves you waiting for the finale. I don't know how he's going to wrap it up in just one more book but I'll be ready and waiting to see.

This is a great Scyfy series with a realistic plot and amazing characters. The narrator does a superb job of bringing the characters to life an animating the story.

Enjoy!!!

Even better than destroyer

What made the experience of listening to Void Wraith the most enjoyable?

The story is great, fast paced and exciting.

What did you like best about this story?

Cool action, great intrigue, excellent characters.

Have you listened to any of Ryan Kennard Burke’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Burke's performance is excellent, as always.

Any additional comments?

You must hear Destroyer first - otherwise you are missing out!
This book is so exciting, the action is fantastic and the characters are richly detailed. The story has just enough mystery to be intriguing, without being overwhelming. Also, I want to rave about the Tigris, too, they just keep getting cooler and cooler.

It is fast paced and an easy listen. Burke's narration is excellent as always, bringing the characters to life and keeping pace with the story.

Void Wraith is just as good as Destroyer, if not better. I highly recommend this to sci-fi fans.

The Void Wraith Trilogy doesn't disappoint!

Would you listen to Void Wraith again? Why?

I would listen to Void Wraith again because it's so entertaining and fact-paced!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can't pick a favorite character, I really enjoy all the main characters, Nolan, Drker, Mighty Fizgig, Hannan... They're all great!

What does Ryan Kennard Burke bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ryan Kennard Burke is an awesome narrator that really brings the book and characters alive! It's so exciting to listen to all the action.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Humans must join together with Alien races to stop the eradication of all species!

Any additional comments?

I loved Destroyer and Void Wraith so much, that I bought Exiled, the prequel, too! I recommend Destroyer, then Exiled, then Void Wraith. Then hassle the author, like I did, to hurry up and write the next book, Eradication!

great book but short, feel almost cheated.

really like the plot, it's new and unique in some ways... but really it shouldn't be a trilogy at all... it should be one book. this "book" only took a couple hours to read. overall, good plot and some character development, but it's missing alot of detail which could have made it richer... and not so short. everything feels rushed and clipped.

Narration just so bad

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I managed to get through the first book in this series despite the narration. But this second book is just unbearable in terms of the narration.

Easy to Enjoy

Good 3 book series with comfortable segments to follow action and characters. Looking forward to book 3. Personally I prefer mild complexity in character molding and number of plots. Good reading.
