Publisher's Summary

Resonance. It's a given on the ice planet, forced upon you by the parasitic symbiont called the "khui". With resonance, a guy and a girl are paired up because they'll make great babies. It's a survival mechanism necessary for this sparsely populated world we're stranded on...and romantic, in a weird, alien way.

Everyone expects resonance to happen when 20 newcomers are dropped onto the frosty world. I doubt anyone expects the gorgeous golden god named Ashtar to resonate to someone like me, though. He's fierce. Flirty. Powerful. Disgustingly handsome. I'm...not any of those things. I'm bland. Boring. Clumsy.

But resonance seems to think we'd be great together. And Ashtar does, too....

Contains mature themes.

I enjoyed the book

I enjoyed the book. It was truly funny at parts. I wouldn't say that it was very sexy but it did have me blushing. I don't regret listening. its a good way to pass a car ride to and from work.

Love this story!

LOVE this story! One of my favorites in this series. The male narrator is great however, the female narrator is very nasally and kind of ruins it for me. Also, why is she using the "valley girl" accent for the female characters??

Loving Ashtar!

I love Ashtar. I wish I had an Ashtar. Funny, possessive and sweet.

He knows who smells the sweetest. He has the hardest time adjusting to freedom. Plus, he and Veronica resonate the first.

it was so cute.

I am very curious about Willa's beast and if their resonance will have issues or not.

So Funny and good

I think this is my new favorite! The narrator are great! Wish they would do male/female parts read instead of chapter. But they know best, Yes?

Loved this second audiobook!

This audiobook is the second in the spin-off of the Ice Planet Barbarian series. I enjoyed it very much, especially the moments of humor! There are still some of the characters from the first series, since this takes place on Not Hoth. The heroine Veronica is a woman who wakes up on an alien planet when freed from stasis by the Sakui. There are also other women and some strange alien gladiators awoken at the same time. One of them is a dragon shifter named Ashtor, who immediately searches out Veronica by scent and decides to “claim” her. She’s a bit startled, but as she gets to know him thinks he’s not so bad. Then their Kui start resonating and they are mates, but Veronica has discovered that she has a new power that interferes with them mating right away. I liked the characters very much and look forward to next in series! Narration was very well done!
