Love!
This is one of my favorite books overall in the whole ICB universe so I was so glad they finally put out a audiobook for it. I’m also really happy with the voice actress! I hope we get to see more of her!!

Short and sweet
I loved the playful banter between the characters; I’d love to have a man like Vasa. The narrator did a great job with the characters. Troubleshooting the baby’s needs brought back memories.

This did not disappoint!
I waited so long to hear this on audio! This narrator truly made me feel for Gail and her plight. I am sad it wasn't longer but i realize its a novella and not made to be long.
The story was so skillfully written that it didnt seem rushed and you really feel like you were experiencing her emotions. I am really glad it fi ally came out and was worth the credit.

Short story of .P.O.C. Woman over 45 FINALLLY sex
Short story of .P.O.C. Woman over 45 y.o. FINALLLY getting adventure, hot sex & introducing the subject of adopting orphans. I really enjoyed this heart warming story. It made me CRY.. She gets to CHOOSE how she express her GIFTS & life experience to the NEW community. Does she stay with old community where she already has a role & friendships or go out to start anew??? THANK YOU RUBY.. Wonderful story that shows older ladies have options ( other than just procreating & using their womb) & still can contribute to society. ( and make an AWESOME storyline.. Older gals have more disposable income for spicy romance stories) . WORTH A CREDIT....YES!!!!!!!!!!!.. (Wish it was longer) BRAVO, BRAVA

The narrator killed any enjoyment for me
This is the 3rd time I have listened to a book narrated by Ja'Air Bush, and all 3 times were just as painful as the last. I spent more time cringing than enjoying my way through this book of Ruby Dixons. I hope Ja'Air is never chosen to narrate another of Ruby Dixons' books. I spent my time fast forwarding through most of the book just to get to the end as quickly as possible, making this purchase utterly regrettable. 🥱😩😫😖
