best book so far!!

I decided to listen to this book after following some online tutorials for exercises to reset the vagus nerve and calm the nervous system. Each video I saw credited their exercises to this book and it's author. It offers an accessible, detailed explanation of understanding cranial nerves as key to our psychological and physical well-being. It also provides easy to follow simple exercises to help yourself at home. The instructions are clear and concise, with detailed diagrams and photographs for support. I have been very pleased with the positive effects I have noticed from following them. I find the theory fascinating. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to explore how the vagus nerve regulates our bodies and wants to learn quick, effective means to reset it.

Inner Peace with Vagus Nerve Exersises

This is a great book to have ready to listen to in your library. Get it, listen to it, feel better! I wasn't sure what the Vagus Nerve is before listening to this book and I'm so glad I learned. Keeping calm is a skill not all of us have mastered yet but this Vagus Nerve Exersises book will certainly put you in the right frame of mind to begin honing that skill. It provides steps to ease the mental burden you may feel for whatever reasons. The author Oliva Miller writes a manual here that will guide you to an inner peace, and once you learn it you will be able to go to your inner peace instantly. Complete with breathing exercises and useful affirmations all read by a very soothing narrator, Alene Sorensen! Listen to this audio book, you won't be disappointed!

Great Book

This book was great! It also taught me so much I didn’t know about how the stress affects a lot of things including your health, it showed me how to relax and how to breath in some exercises that it walked me through, I definitely felt the difference almost immediately and started to relax some of my muscles that had been sore before me reading this book all of a sudden feel so much better! Definitely recommend this book to anyone trying to do meditation but can’t seem to find the time to do it or can’t sit still for a long period of time this is short breathing exercises that doesn’t require a lot of time or space to do

Excellent tool for resetting the vagus nerve.

Well Written and great information

I didn’t know I have a ‘chill-out button’ until I came across this Vagus Nerve Exercises book. I was looking for an easy way out of anxiety and depression by promoting internal peace and this book served this purpose. The book is a practical guide to understanding Exercises for Vagus Nerve. It is really informative, easy to understand, and handy for any person dealing with trauma and anxiety.

Quick Fix For Your Anxiety and Mental Health

This book discusses simple vargus nerve excercises to rapidly get stress, depression, anxiety and trauma better. The vargus nerve is defined as the wandering nerve. There are twelve cranial nerves in our body. The Dr test the vargus nerve by going down your throat to see if you gage. If you do gage your vargus nerve is working.

You should use guided meditation to stimulate the vargus nerve. This can help you sleep. The author does a step by step guided mediation excercise. She does this twice.

She talks about calming the vargus nerve with our breathe. She does this mediation step by step too. She keeps step by step excercises for the calming the vargus nerve.

A Lifesaver

I had never heard of the Vagus Nerve until I read this book. I had known about the fight, flight or freeze response that we experience during an emergency; however, I did not know that it was part of the Vagus nerve which I learned while reading Chapter 2.

Ms. Olivia Miller discusses the importance of breathing in order to relax and reduce your stress. Affirmations are effective exercises for the Vagus Nerve to treat anxiety.

This book has given me the tools that I need to combat stress. I especially like how Ms. Miller describes the importance of having gratitude which I have personally found has helped me out a lot when I am having a bad day.
This book discusses how stress releases cortisone in your body and in the long term how it can adversely affect your health both in body and mind.

Good techniques.

I was skeptical at first but I feel more mentally and physically well. The brain fog has lifted. I’m more social again. I truly believe in this.
