ready for book 2

i really liked this book please hurry up and release book 2 I will pre-order it

Good buildup

Looking forward to book two. Mc character buildup is normal not overly powerful, knows when to run but still shows progression. Helps others, the only thing I’d prefer is to just keep it as humanity vs the abyss creatures not humanity vs the abyss and mythical creatures. Does humanity even stand a chance?

the ending sucked

to the author did you really actually believe your ending chapters were good or did you think if i add drama it will be better

Ouch

So this story starts strong, the narrator isn’t terrible but doesn’t seem like a good fit for this story. The author does a great job explaining the MC and why he is the way he is and even gives him something that makes him unloveable. The very next moment something happens 1 event and then we get to see 7 different character developments in 30 seconds for no real explainable or understandable reason.
Why spend so much time making a character just to absolutely completely undo all of it over nothing? Absolutely ruined the story.

awful, not for me

lacks depth, poorly written, narration is bad.
the book felt half planned out. time lines don't line up well despite the time/space wonkiness.
the characters power growth doesnt make sense, to much exp for low level mobs, to little power shown for being " the strongest person on earth."
the injuries and recovery don't make sense. the main character has many horrific injuries that just seem to go away with lack luster reasoning.
the magic apocalypse genre is my favorite and this book was a let down.
the last thing that bothered me about this book was the peoples emotional states. it's flat across the board, the characters don't have to process anything the are going through but constantly complain about the past.
