Interesting but got bored midway

The character way of thinking is interesting and I have enjoyed the story so far, however it has not been captivating enough to motivate me to continue to finish the book. I might try to finish it another time

I really enjoyed it until about halfway through, then 2 hours of boredom, then more enjoyment.

I liked the concept of being a scientist, and studying cultivation from that viewpoint.

I didn't really enjoy the standard cultivation side of the story though. I think I would have enjoyed more time jumps in that aspect, although I've read a lot of cultivation stories, so maybe others who have not would not feel that way.

I can see myself spending credit on the next one, but if it were available right now I would not get it immediately.

A fun, slow-burn xianxia

The MC is interesting. I enjoyed his scientific method approach to learning how to cultivate better. There are a lot of tropes from traditional Chinese xianxia but that is part of the fun. Overall it was an enjoyable read. The narrator does a good job.

Great story

Good story good progression. No cringe.

Ended at a good spot. Not all story lines were closed off, but that is expected for a series.

good listen

this was a good listen. I did fall asleep to it a lot but I dont blame it on the book, more the time of night I was listening to it.
