Excellent follow up
As a fan of the series, this book is an excellent follow up to a great start. As with book one, there is good character development, worldbuilding, and action. Narration is great and really pulls you into the story.
Be warned, there will be stat reads, which those not into the genre find jarring. Not to worry, they are not excessive and help to move progression along and give context.
Overall I am happy with book two and plan to purchase book three in May, and recommend the series.

Great story
I don’t know what others will think but after the first book you get used to how the characters are voiced and it’s actually not bad. There’s solid character progression for the side characters and the main character is of course very strong compared to others as usual but in this case it makes sense and isn’t too crazy. All in all I am listening to third book now.
