Beautiful narration & story!

I had no idea when I purchased this that it was in duet narration format, so I was very excited when I realized it was recorded in my favorite format. Not only were the narrators amazing, the intricate audio details (violin) made the story beyond par. The story itself was also riveting, I would definitely recommend reading/listening to it!

Incredible Narration!

This is hands down THE BEST audiobook I've listened to in 2024. Teddy & Jacci make this a must listen. Now for the story - I am in love with the world building, the found family elements, and the character development and growth. Can't wait for the next installment!

Amazing Narration!

Absolutely loved the storyline and audiobook narration! The Dual POV was perfectly cast and the addition of music into the audiobook was *chef kiss*.

Stunned with how much I loved this

I cannot express enough how much I loved the narration of Til Death! The narrator truly brought the characters and emotions to life in a way that made me feel deeply connected to the story. Every voice was distinct, filled with emotion, and incredibly immersive. The small moments of music sprinkled throughout the audiobook were a delightful bonus, adding another layer of atmosphere that elevated the listening experience.

As for the story itself, it was captivating from start to finish. Miranda Lyn knows how to weave a compelling plot with high stakes and intriguing characters. That being said, there were a lot of unanswered questions, but I’m assuming those will be addressed in future installments (fingers crossed!). It left me eager for more and excited to dive deeper into this world.

If you’re looking for an audiobook that will keep you hooked with phenomenal narration and a story that promises more to come, Til Death is definitely worth a listen!

Obsession

The connection and devotion between the two main characters were commendable. The gradual revelation of secrets and the emotional tension between them added depth to the narrative. Overall, it was an excellent read.

Every emotion

I’ve had very few books that truly touched my heart. Books that made me cry, laugh, hope, and endure till the end. The slow burn is so satisfying. The characters all had important and worthwhile story lines and arcs. The plot twists, while somewhat obvious, were also revealed in just the right place and time for the story. This is a standalone that won’t disappoint.

So intriguing

It was such an intriguing way to look at death and life and how it was all set up! Totally didn’t see the plot twists coming but I’m always a sucker for lovers going to the ends of it all for each other. Also loved the back and forth audio between narrators.

Loved the music and vibes

The audiobook was great. It was helpful to have the chapters separated by some moody music, which added to the vibe. The voice of the female narrator was grating to me but something I could get over after a few minutes. Loved the male narrator.

The story kept me on my toes. There were lots of side stories that added depth but felt like a hindrance at the end of the book which dragged. There were too many loose ends to tie up and kept going and going.

Once I finished it had me thinking about death and what I would choose for my soul and the life I am living. I like that it was thought provoking.

Great Romantic Fantasy and an Amazing Audio

This was a great romantic fantasy. This world is unique in that here everyone lives until the age of 100, unless Death's Maiden, our FMC, kills you. There is some other magic scattered about, seemingly with no rhyme or reason and some very unique abilities. The angst, push and pull, and chemistry between our two MCs was great and the slow burn was almost painfully slow but worth it! There were a few points in the story, like the history of the God's, that got confusing and unnecessarily complicated which brought the story down from 5 stars to 4.

If you're going to read this, you need to listen to the audio! The audio is an experience! Custom commissioned music adds an eerie, 3D feel to the story at times and really envelopes the listener in to the world.

This story is so well crafted and is unique- unlike anything I’ve read before. I think I’m most impressed by how much of a complete and significant story is fit into one book- which I consider to be a true testament to the quality of storytelling, planning, and writing. Steeped with mystery and interesting history and world building, you will be totally sucked into the Never Sky universe.

Deyanira is such an incredibly strong heroine, fighting through unimaginable circumstances to maintain her honor and follow her moral compass. Meanwhile, Orin is an intriguingly complex character as well, also fighting instincts pulling him in two opposite directions, but filling a very different role. Their chemistry is magnetic and the tension is so well written, the romance feels believable and very satisfying.

Hollis is the most wholesome and wonderful character - I just love him so much, he broke and mended my heart multiple times throughout this story! 💔❤️‍🩹

I think Jacci Prior and Teddy Hamilton were a perfect fit for this audiobook. Not only do they have great chemistry together that makes the banter fantastic, but they portray their respective roles very well. Jacci brings such depth to Deyanira, that the listener can’t help but feel all the tumultuous emotions she struggles through, while Teddy personifies the broody and gruff Orin perfectly. Each also very successfully brings a number of different voices and personalities to life. I love duet narration, and this audiobook is a great showcase of that enhanced listening experience!!

I am so happy to have revisited Miranda Lyn’s writing; she is a fantastic storyteller and this book is a perfect example of that as a stunning, dark, and intense story full of so much heart. I definitely recommend this book and series!
