Incredible content.

This book, both validated and inspired our company to follow the concept of a different- and nonnegotiable - form of marketing. Your business will follow their lead or miss an opportunity to obtain real, measurable and educated buyers. Was not a fan of the narrator- sorry.

Wow- I'm a believer

This is my first audiobook. And yes, I was skeptical to the idea of being able to follow along without visible text. I have listened to NPR, The Economist and several other periodicals in audio form but never have I listened to a book.

After the first chapter I realized that I fully understood the concepts outlined but I also felt more engaged than if I were reading directly from text. Each of us has our own way of learning and while I have come across so many books and topics that have interested me personally, I've struggled with the commitment required to read a book in its entirety.

I only wish I discovered audible.com sooner.

Digital Agency Ready to Answer!

My name is Chris and I have been a fan of Marcus's for a while now. I was so excited to get his book. I own digital marketing agency (Colorado Web Impressions) and in my industry it's a lot like the car industry where people can get a bad reputation fast! Informative and a fast-read! Read it 3 times!!

I blogged around the same time Marcus started the Sales Lion and he is a superb guy and writer. His content is always straight-forward and this book is inline with the inspiring advice he gives for any type of business looking to be a thought leader in their industry. This is great for sales people also.

After the first few chapters it repeats

He tries to teach by repetitive bragging about his company and this one main concept. The first few chapters provide some really great ideas. the rest sounds like an infomercial for his firm and Hubspot. If your read this phrase "They ask, you answer," to yourself, about 10,000 times, you basically read 1/4 of the book.

A serious pivotal point in today’s business growth

Hands down this is one of the easiest and most informative strategies and game plans to take action yourself and through your employees to organically grow your business.
A must read.
I was fortunate enough to see Marcus live at the Roofing insights conference. I wish someone had told me about him or this book much sooner.

Interesting, ballsy advice

A book with a strong message that makes sense though may be hard to follow through on. The delivery is a bit annoying atb times particularly the sheer number of times the book title is repeated throughout the narrative with a little pause before each repetition

The soup to nuts modern tactical way

Ok - duh it's time to decentralise marketing and ditch the ego centric personalities that drive it. Employees- you know the questions and you have the answers - a release from generating "look at me" drivel and focus on what the customers you want, want! Simply brill. Although don't underestimate the ramping up this takes!

a decent listen if you don't mind the American accent and are looking for something informative for your ride home from work. provides some decent examples of how content helps buainesa convert better. my favorite part was the writing about competition part where it invites the listeners to try the uncomfortable/unconsidered content side
