Newly revised and expanded!

Your husband stands just outside the fence, beckoning you to join him. Of course, that shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. Still, because he died many years ago....

A centuries-old journal, newly discovered, tells the tale of an unknown, lonely person living completely alone and isolated, deep in the forest, as strange events unfold around them. Disembodied voices, phantom footsteps in the dead of night, strange, foreboding dreams- what will they all lead to as the unknown author struggles to understand what is happening? Come along on this odd tale of a time long forgotten by today's modern world, and meet, if you will, The Wood's Witch.

Wonderful book! Such a beautifully written and emotion-stirring story! I really enjoyed the diary format style a lot. I didn't want the story to end! I could relate so much to the main character, their strong sense of self-awareness and their keen observations of the world and the other people around them. The narrator's voice was very smooth and relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! recommend this book highly, especially to anyone who has felt like an outsider but who is also totally at peace with that.

An excellent read!

This was a great story. I wish it had been even longer. Understanding the title was a bit of a twist. The narrator did a great job as well!
