Great story but the author has an annoying habit

This was a captivating story with a lot of twist and turns. However, the author uses the word “so” far too often. They were so happy, they were so afraid, they were so excited, they were so careful, etc.

Great Story

A true love story with a lot of mysteries and twists. There were times when it almost became too dark. but then there was a twist that gave you hope again.

Excellent story flow!

Story was well told, no incredible possibility gaps as you find in some stories. Recommend for anyone looking for a "can't put it down" book!

Very good keeps you guessing

Really enjoyed the characters and the story. I cannot stop listening. The narration is very good as well.

Very intriguing

I was caught up in the story from the beginning. Twists and turns and not predictable as to what would happen next. I’d recommend as a “keep your attention “ book.

Intriguing story line

Definitely kept my interest throughout. Narrator did an excellent job. The story had a few twist and turns and kept the suspense throughout until the very last chapter.

Engaging story.

I was fully in from the first chapter. Well defined characters. Lots of twists. Surprises.

Pretty good story, though forgettable

While I enjoyed listening to this book, I didn't write a review of this book right after I finished listening and now a week later I forgot what happened and had to re-open the book to refresh my memory. The story may be a bit far-fetched, but if you accept the premise of marrying someone without knowing much about them then it works pretty well. You also have to accept one other far-fetched premise, but I don't want to introduce any spoilers so I won't elaborate on that one. As a light listen between non-fiction books it worked fine.

Really great listen

Great characters, Luke is the perfect hero from start to finish. The writing is excellent. The intrigue keeps the plot moving at a quick pace. Enough sub plots to throw some twists in but ultimately well done to connect it all back together!

Excellent narration. I really felt the emotions from each of the character voices!!
