Great story! even if you know somebody that has mental illness challenges. beware

took me awhile to get into this story but well written. well executed. good ending

Twisted psychological trip!

Brilliant writing, evoking emotion and thought. Creates a scene that takes you into the story.

Full of twists and turns

Right when I thought I had figured out what was happening everything got flipped over, and then again and again. This is a perfect read for someone who usually can figure a plot out easily just for the fact it kept me on my toes.

Lots of twist and turns not very plausible

I enjoyed the twist in terms of this book, but I felt there were too many overall good listen we’ll seek out his other books

Scared and desperate

This audible book had me a nervous fearful for Emma’s life. I couldn’t understand why she kept on trusting different people and the voice in her head, but it was good.

Yes 100%

There is nothing in this book that is wrong. I love the twist, the mystery, the panic. It's a thrilling book to listen to and has you on the edge of your seat the entire time. You think you know it all, but you never ever will. And the way the book is written is fantastic because it's 3rd person pov, but you also feel as lost and confused intentionally like the main character is. I truly loved this book✨️

strong characters, raised questions constantly of "is this the culprit?" shone a bright, compassionate light on sufferers of mental illness. great read!

Story keeps you engaged

I liked the story and it kept me wondering what would happen. The reader read a little too quickly at some points and I did not enjoy the voice of Emma.

100/10 recommend for anyone who loves psychological thriller mysteries

If you like movies like Silence of the Lambs and Orphan this is an amazing listen for you. The amount of twists and turns this book takes keeps you on the edge of your seat till the last chapter. Hats off to the Sabastian Fitzek 👏👏👏

P.S!!!
This book discuss topics of rape, extreme paranoia, suicide, and graphic murder. I don't recommend listening if you are sensitive to any of these topics. And for younger audiences (16 and below) read with caution, and if you are under the age of 14 I do not recommend this book at all.

This story actually kept be distracted from the truth so that the twists at the end were really surprising!
