Exceptional

loved the characters and story. USMC background Vietnam, little much on religion but not uncommon with my tmguys. Look forward to Book 2.

A little mixed at first, followed by spellbinding story line. Can't wait for next book!

Astounding! Couldn't put it down. Edge-of-your seat action and gripping emotion. Can't wait for the next book of the series!!

Frustrating

Tge heroine was a character i did not like; she manipulated and led her friends into dangerous situations and then there were so many mountain crossing incidents it felt totally unbelievable and frustrating

Boring

I barely made it to the third chapter. The author was more interested in showing off her new “mountain climbing” language than she was in creating a story you can follow. Plus the perspective so far has been from the main male character yet it is a female narrator. There just wasn’t the cohesion and ability to follow the story line there should have been.

love justice book from start to finish.

great characters, great plot, great story, great pending! You can't go wrong.. I definitely want to read the next book in this series

Severely disappointing:(

While there was some ‘life lessons from the Word’ type moments, the storyline was woefully put together. Narrator- no offence, but please keep your day job. I’ve listened to a LOT of audiobooks with male and female narrators who did great with voice differentiation of characters. This one? Reallllly bad. Overall just really disappointing.

MY TAKE
This is my first Warren book. I really enjoy the story. It is definitely a Christian tale, and some of the characters talk about their faith a lot. If that's an issue for you, this may not be a good choice for you. But if you're okay with people being religious, you're in for quite a ride! If you've ever wanted an entertaining way to learn about mountain climbing, this is a great option.

My word! This story has so much action. Talk about all the bad things happening to these women and then the men who are sent in to do the rescue. It's quite intense at times. And heartbreaking when they're in situations where they think they're going to die and bear their souls.

The story arc for this book (Orion and Jenny) is resolved, but there's obviously more going on that will be resolved in subsequent books. I'm really looking forward to it.

My one complaint is some of the angst seemed to go on too long.

I listened to the audiobook, and Cynthia Farrell did a great job with the narration!

on the edge of my seat, but

from one writer to another please be careful about the phrases "in her/his bones." You use it a lot. It's a great descriptor but not so often in your next book , which I look forward to listening to.
