Search-and-rescue pilot Kacey Fairing is home on leave in Mercy Falls, Montana, 12 years after she joined the military to escape the mistakes of her past. I wasn’t crazy about the singing in this book. I have read another of this author’s books, and I didn’t like the singing in it either. That didn’t add to the story at all in my opinion. Otherwise the book was great. JS.

One of the best books I have listened to. There was suspense, mystery, intrigue and of course a beautiful love story.

This book is well written and has wonderful characters and wonderful descriptions. The story shows how lives can be torn apart by parents interfering in their child's life and lying. It just has too much angst for me to really enjoy. It has a wonderful message of faith and the ending is happy. The narration is very good!
