Hooked

I was hooked from book 1. I’m so sad this is over. The book is laugh out loud funny. Anyone adept in the art of the sarcastic remark will feel right at home diving into this series. I’m holding out hope it gets turned into a movie or tv series.

Fun Engrossing Read

Another series that kept my attention to the point of finding extra time to listen. The story was engrossing, the characters were fun, and the narrator was entertaining. Yes, juvenile humor as some reviews would say, but a fun read.....especially enjoying this type of raw humor.

Someone make this a movie!

someone really needs to make this a movie. the character interactions are amazing! the narrator is extremely talented. he was able to distinguish voices of different characters very well. the humor in the series is side-splitting funny. I highly recommend this book to anyone whether you're into science fiction fantasy or Romance.

Fantastic Listen!!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I downloaded this series at first but quickly fell in love with it. This was a well written story with memorable characters. This is one of the few series I felt myself become emotionally invested in. I laughed out loud at times and couldn't wait for the final showdown. I can't recommend this series enough.

such a great series!

I absolutely LOVE these books. the main character, Bill is totally relatable in my opinion, as well as his characteristics. This package deal of 4 books in one is packed full of action, humor, and sadly, just a tiny bit of heart ache(if you connect to the characters like i do). The title to the very last epilogue is hilarious in itself, because it is soooo true. The author obviously hit that nail on the head good and hard. great job!

Another fun romp with Bill and the gang. Really appreciate the bundled books so you can just listen straight through.

Again one criticism

As with the 1-4 books Bill doesn't seem to grow much as a person, this time he is contrasted with another who doesn't change. This may sway some to the unchanging nature of Bill. I still would have liked to have seen him change and that is why I held bad that final fifth star on story. I still greatly enjoyed these books and read other books by the author. I felt the series had a satisfying pay off with one small exception which I won't spoil and that isn't a criticism more of a please Mr Fetherof one more hit I need one more and you know about who.

enjoyable<br />

I really enjoyed the series from book 1 right through to book 8. I am a little disappointed that I have now finished them as I now have to try and find something that is going to keep me engrossed and wanting to listen at every opportunity. This is not a book for children to listen to due to the strong language but it is also the thing that makes it more realistic and not just someone reading a story to you.

Twilight meets Monty python.

Good if childish storyline spoilt by a narrator who either cannot read or an author who cannot spell. "Height" was pronounced "heighth" on numerous occasions, "vampiric" was pronounced "vamprick" "shone" pronounced "shown" and many other mistakes were made with the narration which made the book very hard to enjoy.
On the positive side, the characters were well created and well defined, and the story was funny and ran at a very fast pace.
