An inspiring guide about self-love

I love how this book tackles positive self image and numerous ways to improve a person’s self esteem. This book made me inspired to know myself more as well as love myself for who I am. It made me accept my flaws and love myself more and realize that I’m still a work in progress.

Added Value

Very good book, lots of details. Just as its title states its a book on self esteem. Alot of us knows how detrimental low self esteem can be while others don't. The author did an amazing job explaining what self esteem was and how we can combat low self esteem.
What stood out for me most was the chapter on showing ourselves compassion, being kind to ourself. Using compassion by telling ourselves others feel the way we do, having more patience. We should show ourselves more compassion by recalling our wins, this atomatically brings us back our good space and allow us to stop self loathing.

Powerful resource to build self-esteem

I'm happy I found this audiobook. I feel like the author can totally relate to what I'm going through and I truly appreciate the insights I gleaned from listening to this audiobook. Narration is also great. Overall, I enjoyed the book.

Too basic

This book spends the first half explaining why low self-esteem is not ideal for so many aspects of your life- like I get it and that's why I'm here but do you need 1 hour to elaborate on that? I found the techniques are general too, but if that's how CBT is I'm wrong for posting this.
