Amazing!!
I’ve been in a slump trying to find something that keeps my interest and satisfies my romantasy obsession after finishing everything SJM and this hit the spot. Highly recommend and eagerly awaiting the next book!!!

Slow start but picks up into something great
Keep going if you feel it’s going slow! I promise it will be worth it. I’m pretty good at catching the twists before they happen and this one had me all the way til the end. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and nuanced
A very well-deserved 5 stars (and I am picky). The story starts off a little slowly and it takes time to fully adjust to all the names and places…BUT, stick with it because it is so worth it. The characters are complicated and beautifully developed. The FMC is so 3-dimensional, believable, and perfectly imperfect. The plot is full of twists and turns. It is so refreshing to find a book within this genre that feels truly unique. The sequel cannot come soon enough.

Unique story and amazing narration!

Interesting world building excellent narrator
The narration is perfect. Overall plot is slightly predictable and reminiscent of others in the genre but the world building, location and characters are interesting and unique. Can’t wait to read the next one!
