Very soothing; helps if you have practiced some mindfulness mindful
Tara's voice is spacious. In addition to the very simple, yet clear instructions, she gives a personal example from her own life that helps make this easy to relate to. I like following her on her website as well. She continues to support mindful practices weekly.

Good practice for healing triggers.
Tara Branch does a wonderful guided practice that can help find what triggers ,and keeps us stuck and repeating patterns that stop us from finding true peace and happiness in our lives and relationships.
Using mindfulness techniques we can identify what triggers us to return to behaviors that hold us from achieving true happiness in ourselves and with our relationships.

Finding the space within is the hub of freedom
A great acronym and explanation of how to recognise in the moment what is happening with gentleness; allowing life to be just as it is in the present moment with honesty and consent; investigating with curiosity what is going on inside, noticing the emerging beliefs and their effects on your body; and finally taking refuge in the non identification of being in that presence with kindness - the innermost truth of what you are.
Tara Brach's delivery of this awareness meditation is gentle and restful, her guidance is like being stroked with a feather and the insights from its application are expansive.
However, if you are looking for a quick fix then this practice is not for you unless you are prepared to slow down and do the investigative work in each external situation that causes you sadness, grief, anger, frustration, confusion or conflict.
I felt I was worth the time to explore this approach and I'm very grateful for this practice of R,A,I,N. Thank you Tara!

the intro precedes a meditation of kindness
The meditation at the end is so very worthwhile. Best thing to learn how to be kind to myself in situations I find difficult, especially my addiction. It helped me stand back from myself in a loving caring way. RAIN is really useful and I am glad I purchased this. I could listen to it again and again to help heal my negative self.
