It enables the mind!

The vagus nerve has two lots of tangible nerve cell bodies, and it associates the brain stem to the body. It enables the mind to screen and get data around a few of the body's various capacities.

Highly recommended.

This book surprised me in a way I never thought of. The author described everything in a way that anyone can easily understand. I truly enjoyed to listen this book. The narrator narration is also great. Highly recommended.

Nicely narrated!

The information in this audible provides a nice alternative explanation and treatment for those suffering from depression and anxiety and I especially liked the emphasis on ones state of mind as part of treatment like mindfulness while eating and practicing gratitude.

Good info but monotonous

There’s some good science based info on what depression and anxiety are on a cellular level, but if you already have an understanding of that and just want the tools to benefit vagal nerve function, skip to the last 2 chapters. I found the readers voice to be a tad monotonous but I don’t think I would’ve finished it on paper copy due to the wordiness of all the science facts.
