Did not see the ending coming. Captivating story with twist and turns. An often frustrating main character with a happy ending

Thoughtful portrayals of characters

The start was difficult for me and I’m not sure why. I think the main character came off as pompous or self important. I’m glad I hung in there. The narrator was excellent giving just the right amount of subtle emotion where needed. Ultimately, the characters grew and evolved. There were a couple small details that stood as continuity errors an editor should have caught (what person leaves their motorcycle behind?) but that’s really nitpicking. Overall, well written and engaging with a subtle commentary on modern socity.

Good story, great narration, too much romance for me.

This is a good story but has a lot of romance and intimacy. I prefer more crime/thriller but the narration was great!

I liked this and it didn’t seem too long

I stayed interested in the main character and kept listening to figure out what was going on and how it would end. It wasn’t super charged but worth my listening time.

Great story!!!

I have read (via audiobooks) over 200 titles and leave a review of about 10%. I found this story to be extremely compelling and interesting, and I even slowed down the read pace a bit because I didn’t want it to end. I thought the writing was wonderful the narration excellent, and will definitely look for additional titles by this author.
