Compelling characters and story

I really enjoyed this book and didn't want it to end; I liked the story and characters so much that I'd happily keep listening for another 9 hours. The main characters were so fleshed out and likeable despite their flaws. The story was unique and entertaining. And the narrator was excellent!

Kelli Tager nails it! She is insanely talented, giving each character a distinct and believable voice. Her compassion for these characters, some of whom are dealing with A LOT, shines through. I cannot stop listening!

Honest, messy, and very real. This one feels personal and reflective, diving into friendship, ambition, and the complicated dynamics between creative women. I appreciated how open and unfiltered it felt — imperfect in a way that makes it relatable. 📚✨

Surprisingly Good!

I just happened upon this audiobook. Not sure how—just included in my membership. The storyline is well developed, as we're the characters. I found myself having genuine feelings towards them—flaws, good points, bad points… no one is all good or bad. We all do things we regret from time to time. The characters are very real. I don't know how to explain it without spoilers. Love this book and hope the author has other books that I can listen to!
