a convoluted mess

I finished it but honestly what a mess of a story... it tried to be everything and ended up being a convoluted mess that was so difficult to follow. im glad I didnt pay for it. the narrator couldn't even save it

Great listen. Kept me hooked the whole way through until the end. Definitely plan on looking for more books from author

Realism and great reader

We lived in the Syracuse area for numerous years and this was like visiting the old haunts. The characters were realistic and matched the actual personality of the area
I listen to these books with my grown son so the reader is really important to us. This one is a winner

The he cop is so stupid it’s hard to listen to…. Trying way too hard. Makes it unbearable

Annoying and obvious character voices. Subtlety is a lost art for modern authors but I’m not sure why..
