The First Husband
I rarely write ✍️ reviews but this one I couldn’t pass by. I absolutely loved loved loved this novel. I finished it in 2 days. The narrator was phenomenal and the author.....oh wow!! I highly recommend downloading this incredible book!

Meh.....
The storyline was OK, but the author used a very significant event in American history, and put a fictional spin on it which I found inappropriate and almost an insult to the victims of that day. That’s just my opinion, the rest of the story was OK.

Story took a left turn
This started out as an interesting story about a self centered and ambitious young woman, but took a shocking plot turn into a real event that was unnerving and painfully trivializing. I was horrified.

not a fan
Definitely not my favorite. First half is nothing but a romance book and the second half is a history lesson of 9/11. If you enjoy either of those then you will like this book. The writing was good and the character development was excellent. Maybe this would be more of a historical romance. Not my cup of tea.

Altered history of 9/11
I found this book to be very disturbing in that the author is taking the liberty of altering the history of one of the hi- jackers of 9/11.
The performance by the narrator was excellent but I was extremely unsettled by the book and most definitely would not recommend.

Pathetic
If you like a pathetic, whiny, needy main character then the first half is the book for you. If you like insulting revisionist history about 9/11, the second half of this book is the one for you.. Annoying narration too. I did appreciate that the ending wasn’t wrapped up in a pretty red bow “everything’s going to be OK.” That was the one redeeming quality but did not make up for the rest of this awful book
