OMG!

This book was so intriguing. Picture a really cool and loving sorority vibe that takes a dark irreversible turn.

Mystery

Good book but was expecting a bit more of twist. Sad that these things do happen in real life.

Unpredictable

Loved the book and the person who narrated did an excellent job with all the different voices.

Eh

It was just okay.. nothing too exciting all pretty easy to guess what would happen next.

Entertaining, Psychological Read w/ Satisfying Conclusion

If you are NOT familiar with the who, what, why and how a person could get sucked into being in a cult, The Mirror House Girls will be a riveting, eye opening read.

If you ARE familiar with the psychology behind cults and gangs, The Mirror House Girls will simply be an enjoyable book to pass the time.

Falling into the ladder, The Mirror House Girls was just ‘good’ for me. The overall story telling and narration is fantastic; however, mid-way to three-fourths through I was like “come on already”, then, I would remind myself the important of nuance; after all, it’s nuance that transcends a group into a cult — a slow drip that, overtime, fills a tub, which the author does amazingly.

If you are looking for a no-angst, entertaining, psychological read, I would recommend The Mirror Girls.

If you are looking for a fast paced, thriller, with lots of twists and turns, maybe choose another title.

It was really predictable

It was fine, good story, interesting and engaging but it was very predictable. I listened to the whole thing because I wanted the details but didn’t change the outcome or anything

Awesome narrator

This was a very good book. A little bit wordy in the middle but overall an interesting story. I will say that the narrator of this book was amazing. I was going between a 3 and a 4 star and the narration bumped it to 4.

Not a psychological thriller

This book is advertised as a psychological thriller, I don't think that's an accurate description, that's why it received a 3-star rating.

It wasn't a bad book just not what I was expecting. The writing was good, the story developed well. It shows how people can be oblivious to a cult starting around them as they slowly get sucked in.

Great narration

The narration made this audiobook! Easy read but not a ton of twists or surprises.

Very weird

I had a hard time getting through this one. Not much of a thriller in my opinion until maybe the last 20 minutes. Definitely a different type of story.
