Too violent for me

Not what I am used to from Karin Slaughter. While I understand the intent of the story, the gory details were too much for me

The pacing in the book was excellent

The narrator was very good and the Plot moved along. The only criticism is that this author needs to develop other storylines that don’t always involve sisters where one of them is missing.

Relentless and Terrifyingly Real

Pretty Girls was intense, disturbing, and completely gripping. The pacing is relentless, the stakes keep escalating, and the darkness never feels gratuitous — it feels horrifying because it’s believable. This story doesn’t flinch from the worst parts of human cruelty, and that realism is what makes it so scary and effective. It’s a tough listen at times, but an excellent one, and I couldn’t stop once it had its hooks in me.

Holy Plot Twists.

I always feel like I can call the ending to most plots these days… This book had me doing double takes at every turn. She wasn’t afraid to go into dark details that I feel most crime junkie women think of just living in this world we live in. The trigger warning for this book is “trigger warnings” because if you can think of a trigger warning, you can bet it’s in this book. As someone who rarely needs trigger warnings, this one broke the mold! Very good read!!!

Pretty Girls is a must!

Karin Slaughter by far is my favorite author! She never leaves me disappointed. You’re kept on your toes during the entire book! I only hate waiting between listens! Get the book! You won’t regret it!
