Excellent story telling and the action had me at the edge of my seat can’t wait for the next one. As much as I wanted to listen to this in one day I had to restrain myself and slowly listen to it and enjoy it like fine wine.

Excellent

Book and series are good but for the last 3 or 4 books Tom Elliot has ended the book either mid conversation or during a battle. Really needs to fix that. There doesn't need to be a mid something cliff hanger for people to want to buy the next book, but it will start turning people away if it continues.

Ends during a figt

a very fun story fast-paced. I enjoyed the character progression and his familiar was great fun.

It ended on a cliffhanger and now I half to wait for the next one. I finished the book in 2 days

The story line

Mc fighting monsters now after going murderhobo on the previous book. Loose ends got tied and the mc is off to the next arc of events. Series is still keeping strong, looking foward to more of the story in the next book.

Awsome story.

This series is really good and keeps getting better. The audio could use some quality control on the repeating lines but still a good listen.

It keeps getting better!

The grand game really draws you in and allows you to vividly imagine what is happening in the book

A very engaging book and written extremely well

I like the strategy being laid out so well but again they did so much show and tell here for a nine day time span.

Nice build up but too short of a time span within the story.

Been reading all of his books so far and I would say I enjoy the power progression of the main character and the world building

Great story progression

Being 8 books in, I'm obviously enjoying the series. I think the weakest point for me is the dialogue. It's all very simplistic, with little nuance or interest. Characters basically all fit one of a few molds, and I'd love to see a bit more thought put into the dialogue. It should be used for more than just to advance the story to the next scene. All that aside, I do enjoy the storytelling, so I'll keep listening.

Good, but dialogue is sometimes pretty simplistic
