The Last Promise You Made was an achingly beautiful, emotional and suspenseful story that made me FEEL and kept me on the edge of my seat. Ryder and Gia were absolute perfection together with little Addy and their story was so touching and poignant that I didn’t want it to end.

Gia was a hard as nails government agent whose life is full of secrets. She’s feisty and stubborn and determined to protect those under her care. I love her fierceness and the vulnerability she eventually showed once she realized it was safe to let her guard down. Her longing for both Ryder and Gia was so strong that it could be felt through the pages.

Ryder was gruff, grumpy and still heartbroken after his fiancée had left him years before. When he suddenly discovers he has a daughter and she’s in danger, he can’t help but open his heart to her and do everything he can to make her feel safe, loved and protected. The man was a marshmallow for his daughter. Sigh. He fought his attraction to Gia with everything that he had, but once he gave in, he was all in and would do anything to prove it Gia and his daughter.

Both Gia and Ryder were a bit broken and didn’t see love in their future, but they couldn’t deny the electricity that sparked between them from the moment they met. The tension and longing between them was palpable and I loved their push and pull banter. As their defenses lowered, their ideas of their futures began to change. Their relationship was combative, passionate, heartbreakingly angsty and full of so much chemistry. I loved watching them fall for each other and Addy.

The audio of this title was performed beautifully by Aaron Shedlock and Emery Erickson. Both narrators put their heart and soul into their performances and brought their characters to life with so much emotion and made me feel every word. The Last Promise You Made was an absolutely addicting story that was full of heartstopping suspense, sizzling heat, found family, and a heartfelt romance. I’m in love with all of these characters and Gia and Ryder definitely have my heart.

This came to life with this audiobook! I loved the book and was engaged in the story where the narrators drew me in once again! This romantic suspense story drew me in from the very beginning and kept me listening until the very end! Not only were Ryder and Gia a wonderfully flawed, well balanced coupled, the supporting characters are also well written.

I am becoming quite fond of this series. ❤️

The dual narration was so fun and easy to listen to.
I love when they put real emotions into it.

The Last Promise You Made is the kind of book you dive into head first, heart pounding, and butterflies fluttering, and come out feeling completely astounded. This book will kick you right in the feels, but the pain will totally be worth it. Gia & Ryder's story is beyond what I expected, the twist and turns had me sucked in from the very first words. It's one of those stories that just captures your whole soul. Seriously, just pick up this book and read it because it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Emery Erickson & Aaron Shedlock gave us the characters to absolute perfection. Both are remarkable bringing the characters to life. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance keeps you enthralled from beginning to end.

The duet narration is fabulous!

I read this book when it first came out and I loved it. Now that I've listened to the audio book, I love it even more! The duet narration by Aaron Shedlock and Emery Erickson added so much more depth and color to the story. Just hearing Ryder Hatley say "Darlin" made my whole day. Highly recommend!!
