Life is too short

So glad I had a chance to listen to this audiobook .Never disappointed by Bella Matthews. Lucky and Lexie are such beautiful people and I’m so glad they found their happily ever after. I was worried about the way Lexie would handle the CF issues she suffers but Bella didn’t hold back. It was all perfection. Lucky and Lexie gave it all they have and it was beautiful written.

Phenomenal story and narration!! So emotional!! All the feels!!

Are you ready for a real rip-your-heart-out-romance? Bella Matthews has been sharpening her skills at just that with every book, and she may have just mastered it with this one, book friends!! Lexie’s health condition is no secret, but the raw and gritty emotions it conjures on many levels had me in tears and in awe at the same time. These characters were written with such beauty and grace, you can tell how much research and sensitivity this author always invests into her characters and their unique challenges. Lexie was sheer inspiration on the page as she struggled through unimaginable dilemmas, and still found the strength to get up every morning and reach for her goals and fight for every d**n breathe like the warrior princess she is! And Lucky Beneventi has shot out of the gate and lapped every other Bellaverse man I love, just to steal the title of my favorite, hands down! His resolute, determination to care for her melted my heart! The chemistry between took my breath and made me blush. The extended cast as a whole, as usual, brought a lightness to the heavy through hilarious banter and group chats that simply cannot be matched in any other fictional world. The emphasis placed on family in this world is one of my favorite things, and watching these characters evolve from one generation to the next has been an indescribable joy! I knew Coop as a dad would be a trip, but under these circumstances, it was protective girl dad on steroids, and I was here for it! There are clearly so many amazing stories coming, but I was so invested in Lexie and Lucky that I just wasn’t ready to let them go yet, even with an amazing epilogue there! This was a phenomenal story!! Truly worth all the tears, and deserving of all the stars!!

I was so excited to dive back into 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 via audio with duet narration by Andi Arndt and Tor Thom! They nailed the heart-wrenching emotions that left me in tears when I read it the first time, as well as the witty banter, the passion, and the unbeatable found family vibes and bonds that are uniquely Kroydon Hills! Experiencing Lucky and Lexie this way was extra special!

Phenomenal DUET narration of this beautiful & emotional story

Tor Thom and Andi Arndt were phenomenal in this duet narration audiobook. They really brought Lucky and Lexie’s story to life in the best way. This story is packed with emotion and both narrators really made me feel it all. Tor Thom was able to portray Lucky’s steady presence that he had while still making you feel his happiness, determination to be with Lexie, worried about her and everything in between. While Andi Arndt put so much emotion into her performance whether it was Lexie talking with the girls, being venerable about having cystic fibrosis or anything else she went through. I couldn’t get enough of this narration.

Sweet Temptation starts the Love and Legacy series off with such a beautiful and heart wrenching journey for Lucky and Lexie. These two both have so much to work past before they can give into their feelings and actually be together.

This book had me laughing, crying and everything in between as the book flows between Lexie’s fight with cystic fibrosis, group chats, interactions with family and friends and the undeniable chemistry between these two. When the spice hits in this book oh man Lucky’s dirty mouth will have you melting.
