Ok

Good book. Not great, but good. It always amazes me that a capable female writer has to include the detailed sex act. This book was clearly good without it. If I wanted to hear or read explicit sex I would be a romance buff, not a thriller enthusiast.

Suspenseful story with one huge problem

This was a good story and the narration was great. I had a huge problem with the explicit sex scenes, however. I am an avid reader/listener to this genre, and I’ve never felt the need to skip ahead like I did listening to this book. I don’t understand why the author was so graphic. It knocked the book down 2 stars for me.

Good story well written and narrated

This is my second book by Burton. I enjoy the story she tells and her style of writing. Although somewhat predictable it was still worthy of a credit and my time.

Loved the narrator!

Teri Schnaubelt brought this story to life. Her voices were amazing. That being said the story was good too. I expected nothing less from author Mary Burton. She writes such strong female characters and you can't help but love the men who want to love them. Her storylines are always intriguing and suspenseful and this one was no exception. Good story!

Had potential

Story had potential but was watered down with needless sex descriptions. Characters were well built and the premise was okay.

From the 1st paragraph to the last ending period. A none stop read .

Outstandingly gripping story . exceptionally awesome narration by Teri Schnaubelt ! ! You will fear the ending yet grasping for the good beyond.

Loved this book, didn't want to put it down. Fantastic story, narration and ending. I look forward to reading more from this author

Excellent Mystery/Thriller

This is the first book by Mary Burton I’ve listened to but it won’t be my last. This book is a very good police and FBI thriller. I like the way she writes about her characters and gives a small back story. Mostly about the here and now with a twist or 2. If you like a good police procedural and serial killer story without being too frightening for the reader, this is for you.

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!

I loved this book & the narration were awesome. More books should be read like That, with a lot of people reading for the different people in the book. Good storyline too.
