held my attention!

I love M.B. books, and this one doesn't disappoint. The story had a good mystery and surprise ending and a good romance. My only complaint was the narrator's voice for the male lead, as it was very monotone, though all the other character voices were done well. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book!!

Predictable

A little disappointed there was no suspense or physiological thrilling. I felt no real emotion for the characters. Not useless but not something I could recommend when there are soo many other awesome books.

Absolutely Loved It!

I loved this story! Fast-paced! Gripping! Edge of your seat suspense! I loved the characters in this story! Riley definitely my favorite! The narrator did an amazing job and I really enjoyed how she portrayed Riley!

Couldn't put it down!

Suspenseful story, surprise ending and perfect narration. Amazing how the narrator brings each character to life!

I don’t read too many of Mary Burtons books. I prefer her other persona who writes lovely, heartbreaking, uplifting books, but I will tell you that this book is very well written with wonderfully developed characters and the ride, albeit violent, is worth the price of the ticket!
