A story about an ever dwindling kingdom has it's pitfalls, but is still pretty good

Great Story

Can’t wait to see what else comes of this, the last few chapters had me gasping and tearing up a bit.

I was not expecting the book to be this good so good can not recommend.

I absolutely loved this series, and I hope it turns into a trilogy. I didn't know how this would follow the masterpiece that is Ruin but the madman did it.

A story of rising from the ashes of tragedy

A fantastic story digging into the inner workings of Necrons. truthfully, the story became quite depressing at some points throughout, to the point that I put it down for a few months, wanting to pick it back up when I was in a better headspace. The destination of this story IS worth the harrowing journey that unfolds.

Great voice acting

Wonderful storyline with vivid details. I felt as if I was in the story. The voice acting was spot on as well. Very pleased with this performance.

Great Story and Voice Acting

Great continuation of the story, picking up shortly after the first ends. The writing provides an interesting look into Necron culture. The voice acting is as good as it was in the previous title.

starts slow ends epic

It was a bit frustrating at first actual 3/4th of the story is one long tale of dred. But when you realize who oltex is, or was the whole time, your heart leaps for joy at the fact you just met the flayed king ! I hope there is a 3rd!

never let your scars be grounded in gold.

well this is quite the ride.
although this story had its ups and downs with many slow dragging parts, it more that made up for it in excellent character work and bombastic out there moments.

this entire book for the most part is one big chase scene.
and I do love how humans are betrayed in this story, In our more traditional aspect.
as long distance persistence hunters.
always on the hillside slowly bleeding out its prey never giving up the chase no matter how fast the quarry may be.

I also loved all of the crazy characters.
you get a bombastic rival that I desperately want to see more books all about!
to a obviously backstabbing deathmark just biting his time.
and a weary old cryptek that has far too many secrets.
not to mention the main characters BFF (boyfriend) who is just a delight.

I truly hope they make a third book in the series because considering how it ends.. I want to see the new kingdom of the twice dead King.
