Great story, but Audible is missing Chapter 30.

I enjoyed it, but it was a real bummer when Audible didn't include Chapter 30. WTF?

I can't finish this, narrator disappoints

The story is good and I tried and tried but I can't listen to the narrator. He makes all the characters except Dante sound stupid. Space Marines should sound dignified and powerful, not like they're speaking through their noses or through their teeth. The worst characterization, IMO, up to where I listened, was Mephiston. Too high pitched. I was so disappointed.

A must read for all interested in 40k lore.

This really kept you listening the whole book trough. Lots of things happening and the ending also was something to wait for.

Great book.

Loved this book. Guy Haley did a great job writing this. the Blood Angels are a ton of fun to read about. The Tyranids in this book are the best iteration of Tyranids out of all of the audiobooks I've listened to so far. They're great and feel of so very alien and scary.

Will read again.

A must for any son of Sanguinius

Are you a Blood Angels fan, or even curious who those red-or worse Death Company- guys are cleaning up the tables at your local game shop? this is the book for you pivotal for any BA fan with the 8th edition. CAN be read before or stand alone from Dark Imperium, but you'd do well to read Dante First. Both are great books to help you understand the Warhammer universe. this is the most expansive I know of any franchise. Be warned...you'll be stepping into am ocean from which scifi will never look the same. Let the Emperor and the Great Angel be your guide for it's a journey into a universe no other vision humanity has yet to match the scale of.

Amazing is not enough

Fully enjoyed it, defiantly worth getting. If you are a blood angels fan, want to get more insight into lore, or even get more information on RG this is a must listen.

Excellent listen!

As a long time Warhammer 40,000 fan I found this book to be excellent. The narrator was entertaining to listen to, and the storyline facinating. 10/10 would recommend
