Narrator

I like the storyline but the girl Natalie is so introspective it just bugged me. The narrator was not good at all so I didn’t enjoy the book and did not finish it.

a wonderful book of Natalie's healing

this was wonderful. Natalie was wonderful in helping to record all the Indian songs and bringing help to them. as well as they helped her heal.

Not Jane’s best

I read all Jane Kirkpatrick’s books-I really enjoy the way she takes an historical person and weaves the story of how it might have played out. But though the characters and history were all very interesting, this book was a little tedious. And the woman who performed it was so staccato, it was like a robotic voice. I recommend her other books, but can’t recommend this one.

Not captivating choppy narrative

I have either read or listened to most of Jane Kirkpatrick’s books. This book was the first one that I will be returning to Audible if I had bought it at a bookstore, I would’ve read it myself and not had to listen to a very choppy narrative, absolutely no talent in reading a book to capture the audience‘ whatsoever! Listening to someone who is just reading the book at a slow choppy pace caused me to stop the narrative and write this review . The performance alone ruined this book for me, very disappointed.
