I stumbled upon this series, and I am glad that I did. I've had hours of enjoyment listening to every book from 1 through 10, and I can't wait to start book 11.

A dive off the deep end

Books 8-10 went from mountain mystery to spy thriller fantasy. It was like listening to a Michael Crichton book aka screenplay, and I would not be surprised if this series is already under option for TV. The plots of this set of 3 books just stretch believability, popping me out of the story, and got me wondering how the scope of Wolf’s job or life was going to expand beyond Rocky Points before the entire town’s population becomes the victim of old grudges, serial murderers, or international drug cartels somehow focused on Nowhere, Colorado. As much as I have enjoyed the descriptive narrative and thoughtful character building, I don’t know if I can stick with this series.

I love the series in general, new favorite. Nothing bad at all, great story line that meshes all the books together so smoothly

Never gets old

Great story line. Sometimes it’s a bit predictable but for the most part the series is a great read. Unexpected and keeps my interest. The characters are likable. The books have a great balance of murder, comedy and love.
